Nina Gordon first became known for being one of the singer/guitarist female duo that headed up the Chicago band Veruca Salt. Nina and her co-lead singer/songwriter Louise Post produced two albums and an EP together before personal disputes led to a parting of ways in 1998. Nina is the writer behind Veruca Salt's hit songs Seether and Volcano Girls, among others. In 2000, Nina released her first solo album, Tonight And The Rest Of My Life. The title track became a popular radio single, with its blend of adult contemporary/pop, dashed with the earnest honesty of Nina's writing for Veruca Salt.
